Summary
The Health & Enrollment Outreach Worker oversees the completion of health and enrollment requirements for children in our Head Start classrooms.
Pay: $18.47 an hour
Hours: 40 hours/week
Status: Full Year
Location: Red Arrow
Duties
This position works in close connection with parents enrolled in our Head Start programs in order to meet the health and enrollment requirements of the program. This position also collaborates and communicates with various staff members about health and enrollment requirements and follow up.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required; job related Associate?s degree is preferred
- One year of related work experience
- Complete Family Service Credentialing within 18 months of hire
- Experience and efficiency with various computer programs; Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Experience working with diverse children and families
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Fully proficient in English and Spanish reading, writing, speaking and comprehension skills (high school level or above)

Reach Dane provides high-quality early childhood services to over 1,000 underserved children ages 0-5 in Dane County through center based and home visitation programs. Our staff work tirelessly every day to reach the most vulnerable children and families in our community, and the need for our services is growing. The number of infants and toddlers experiencing homelessness enrolled in our programs has tripled over the last four years. Last year, Reach Dane served more homeless children than any other Head Start program in Wisconsin.
