Coordinator of Physician Service Operations
Evaluates, Develops and Supports operations workflows within the medical group as directed by Leadership to centralize tasks and improve efficiencies.
Essential Job Functions:
Evaluates and develops onboarding processes to improve onboarding experience for new hire providers.
Works collaboratively to support managers in successful onboarding of new providers, including locums and contracted providers to meet targeted start dates
Support practice managers in offboarding employed providers and locum providers transitioning out of the ministry meeting market and system expectations.
Works collaboratively with operations leadership to identify opportunities in workflow processes to support market KPIs.
Works closely with leadership to identify opportunities to develop and implement new operational workflows to maximize efficiency.
Evaluates and develops referral management processes in accordance with system preferences and workflow processes to ensure maximum efficiency.
Supports education and training of managers and associates in collaboration with workflow applications; i.e., EHR system, Billing and Coding, Patient Access.
Evaluates and develops workflow processes to minimize registration errors associated with charge denials.
Evaluates and develops onboarding processes for practice associates in collaboration with managers and system guidelines.
Supports accuracy of master rosters associated with various data related to medical group operations; i.e, employed providers, practices, staff, finance, etc.
Supports identified challenges within practices and collaboratively works with appropriate system support teams to find resolution or create acceptable workflows.
Supports special projects/assignments as required by leadership
Maintains understanding and working knowledge of systems related to medical group operations.
Ad Hoc reporting as needed to support leadership.
Strong time management skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
