Canada Operations Analyst

Canada Partner Operations is at the forefront of building innovative and scalable supply chain solutions that provide a unique, competitive advantage for Wayfair and unlock value for our supplier partners in Canada. Together with our cross-functional partners, we provide cost-efficient, perfect orders at scale to Canadian consumers. By leveraging our proprietary technology, fulfillment and delivery networks, and supply chain services, we reduce costs, increase the speed of delivery and ensure a reliable consumer experience. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to help expand this business and solve complex problems across operations, logistics, and technology to achieve rapid growth.

What You’ll Do:

We are looking for a smart, driven, energetic Analyst to support analytics and the day-to-day execution of projects that support the success of the Wayfair Canada business. We favor individuals who can assess the current state, creatively question the status quo, and find innovative ways to drive for higher outcomes to constantly raise the bar. We will empower you to break down complex or ambiguous problems, allow full access to data across multiple platforms, and promote a culture of cross-functional collaboration.

Examples of day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analyses of various painpoints across Canada’s supply chain
  • Serving as a subject matter expert for Wayfair’s Canadian operational strategy, and a credible and articulate point of contact to a range of cross-functional leaders
  • Proactively engaging with cross-functional partners to develop strategies for strengthening and maintain Canadian inventory positions among the North American supplier set
  • Developing tools and technology that improve the effectiveness of cross-functional partners
  • Partnering to modify and reinvent systems and processes, ensuring that Canada’s needs are met within a complex operational ecosystem

What You’ll Need:

  • 2+ years of Supply Chain experience in a large corporation or a consulting firm preferred
  • Advanced experience with Excel and SQL (Data Studio, Looker, or Google BigQuery a plus) to conduct analyses and arrive at recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability acting as a cross-functional partner operating independently with actionable recommendations against challenging problems and competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with a broad cross-functional audience and influence and persuade members at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, motivate players, and drive positive results
  • Demonstrated ability to select the most impactful areas to focus in a landscape with multiple priorities
  • Prior experience with inventory planning and operations a plus
  • Bachelor's degree
