Job Description
Overview:
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible creating and analyzing comprehensive distribution data with heavy concentration on inbound freight movements.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect and examine all pertinent distribution data as assigned
- Work directly with internal operations departments (purchasing, warehouse, finance, customers service) in identify and resolving issues with quality of product being delivered to warehouse or customers
- Act as company resource to impart new distribution information, processes and functions pertaining to internal departments as needed
- Identify trends in related instances, at the hub, branch, route, customer and item level
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to "think on your feet" in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
- Must be detail oriented and have ability to manage multiple priorities successfully
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel is a must
- Minimum one (1) to two (2) years relevant work experience or coursework
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business management, supply chain, logistics or related field
- Willingness to spend time in a warehouse environment
