The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible creating and analyzing comprehensive distribution data with heavy concentration on inbound freight movements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and examine all pertinent distribution data as assigned
• Work directly with internal operations departments (purchasing, warehouse, finance, customers service) in identify and resolving issues with quality of product being delivered to warehouse or customers
• Act as company resource to impart new distribution information, processes and functions pertaining to internal departments as needed
• Identify trends in related instances, at the hub, branch, route, customer and item level

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Outstanding communication skills
• Ability to "think on your feet" in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Must be detail oriented and have ability to manage multiple priorities successfully
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel is a must
• Minimum one (1) to two (2) years relevant work experience or coursework
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business management, supply chain, logistics or related field
• Willingness to spend time in a warehouse environment
