Position Overview:
QinetiQ is seeking a Operations Research Analyst to support a DHS customer. The team supports U.S. Customs and Border Protection's Office of Accountability with the development of data analysis tools, strategic planning materials and communications, and program evaluation strategies designed to meet the Office of Accountability’s complex and unique challenges. The Analyst will provide data analytics, reporting and communications support for multiple projects and divisions within the Office of Accountability

Responsibilities:
- Update and enhance existing PowerBI dashboards
- Develop and update Microsoft Forms
- Generate and enhance quarterly reports for the Performance Management Analysis Division (PMAD)
- Develop and enhance business processes
- Develop well founded and defensible solutions by considering alternative courses of action and choosing the most beneficial options to the government when faced with complex decisions
- Apply analytic techniques to study policies or initiatives
- Consistently provide insightful responses to government requests in a timely manner to ensure the delivery of the highest quality products
- Communicate openly and constructively with engagement team members and the government
- Lead meetings with client stakeholders
- Develop decks and other communications
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in PowerBI and dashboard/data visualization development
- Experience developing MS Forms
- Strong analytical capabilities/ability to explore and formulate insights and recommendations based on data analysis
- Domain knowledge in Performance Management
- Data exploration, survey analysis, and/or data mining, data visualization, and coding
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Creative thinking
- Strong problem-solving abilities
