Job Description

The Office Assistant/Clerk IV handles a wide variety of situations and functions in the CCF Outpatient areas. The Office Assistant/Clerk IV serves as liaison between departments, medical staff, clinics, associates and the general public, making independent decisions when appropriate and working as part of a team for overall support of Center for Children and Families (CCF), The Leadership of Radiology, Admitting and Ambulatory Services set(s) the overall objectives and provide(s) general supervision. The Office Assistant/Clerk IV provides overall administrative support to the Radiology area in CCF to whom assigned to accomplish daily workloads.

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills (CSRH-WH) is a 150-bed hospital serving the fastest growing area of San Antonio. Specialized care includes orthopedic and surgical services, ICU, women’s services, a newborn nursery, comprehensive cardiovascular care from diagnostics to open heart surgery, vascular lab, sleep center, emergency services, the CHRISTUS Weight Loss Institute, wound care, rehabilitation, and more. The campus also boasts an Outpatient Imaging Center and three medical plazas, one of which houses our CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency Program and CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Health Center.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of college or Certification as a Radiology Technician, Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Significant applicable healthcare and/or radiological experience in lieu of college may be considered.
• Two (2) years of hospital/medical experience required.
  
• Experience and/or knowledge in reference to diagnostic radiological procedures preferred.
• Significant applicable education and/or training may be considered.
