Provides consistent leadership of nursing personnel and supports patient focused collaborative care in a shared governance environment. Responsible for coordinating, facilitating and integrating the optimal provision of service on each unit. In conjunction with this, other responsibilities include providing clinical expertise coaching/mentoring of staff and customer service. Assumes
responsibility for the nursing units when Clinical Managers are not present.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Licensed to practice in the State of Michigan. Two years' experience as RN Staff Nurse with demonstrated leadership required, preferably work experience concurrently in appropriate specialty area. Ability to meet all behaviors of the RN Staff Nurse Job description. Ongoing continuing education required with national certification preferred.
