Job Title: Neuro Diagnostics Technician
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
The Neuro Diagnostics Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic tests to evaluate the function of the nervous system. The Neuro Diagnostics Technician will operate specialized equipment and work closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to diagnose and treat neurological disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests to evaluate the function of the nervous system, including electroencephalography (EEG), nerve conduction studies, and evoked potentials
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment used in neurodiagnostic testing
- Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and explain testing procedures to patients and their families
- Monitor patients during diagnostic procedures to ensure safety and accuracy of test results
- Document test results and communicate findings to physicians and other healthcare providers
- Assist with patient education and provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Neurodiagnostic Technology or related field
- Certification by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in neurodiagnostic testing
- Knowledge of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and neurodiagnostic testing techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach to perform diagnostic procedures
