Description:
Our client, a manufacturer of sterile injectables used in imaging devices is seeking a Microbiologist to support their formulation, filling and packing from the manufacturing floor. The individual will be responsible for Endotoxin and Bioburden as a part of the Environmental Monitoring team.
Day to day:
50% of the day is performing test and monitoring (benchwork, labwork)
50% of the day is reviewing results, trends, writing investigations. Most of the admin side of things.
We are currently trying to transition to Moda but 60% to 70% is paperbased at this point.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
BS or BA in an appropriate scientific discipline (e.g. biology, microbiology, biology)
3-5 years pharmaceutical microbiology experience
2+ years with Environmental Monitoring experience.
GMP Exposure, must have GMP exposure as SOP's aren't as built out. CDMO's and CMO's are great experience for candidates.
Environmental Monitoring, Bioburden, and Endotoxin testing experience needed. Would be ok training on Sterility and Particulate matter testing.
