Early Professional
SUMMARY
Transport and deliver materials and special waste to assigned areas inside and outside the plant. Maintain equipment and designated yard areas outside of the plant. Record incoming materials, sorting Material Master numbers and serial numbers. Packaging and boxing finished goods. Perform 5S with maintaining stocking levels. Operate fork trucks, electrical hoist, hand trucks, and other vehicles to transport materials to designated areas. Empty containers used for scrap. Other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safety
- Keep safety as the priority in every process step
- Adhere to all company and Plant specific safety requirements
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Recognize, report and correct safety hazards upon identification
Function
- Must be able to operator several types of fork trucks and other material movers
- Obtain certification to operator cranes
- Must demonstrate the ability to keep organized to track parts arriving and leaving area.
- Use computer to input documentation and move finished material to the next process area
Regular Attendance
All other duties as assigned or needed
- Flexible to changes that are needed to meet business demands
- Willing to train and learn to operate different equipment such as hand tools, small machines, blasters, etc.
- Available and willing to work 1st, or rotating shifts as needed (Shift Premium $1.20/hr)
- Available and willing to work overtime (extended shifts, Saturdays and/or Sundays)
