Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborates with Marketing Department and resort partners to drive brand awareness and marketing efforts
  • Assists marketing operations to develop and respond to design requests
  • Maintains accurate event listings and brand integrity on third party websites and with resort partners
  • Develop and propose new ways to enhance current partnerships with third party sites
  • Assists in managing social channels to ensure accurate, timely and engaging content
  • Organizes strategy documents, creative assets, and meeting materials/agendas
  • Assists with development and implementation of creative tasks, as assigned
  • Prepare and manage timelines for marketing projects using a program management system
  • Adheres to brand standards on all marketing programs
  • Ability to learn subject matter related to OWA and speak confidently in public settings; Plan, design, and develop effective presentations for internal and external use
  • Possess a passion for staying up to date with industry-leading marketing trends and recommend strategy changes to improve customer engagement
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 19 years of age or older.
  • Must have recently obtained a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications or related field, or is currently enrolled in a related degree program with a completion date set within twelve months of internship.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite is required; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites, HTML, CSS, and social media management platforms a plus
  • Experience executing marketing campaigns for a tourism driven property is preferred
  • Demonstrates passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
  • Proven capability of managing multiple marketing campaigns in a professional work environment required
  • Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, high volume work environment
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license
  • Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to work in sunny, hot, humid, cold and rainy conditions
