Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Location: Boca Raton, FL

Job Classification: Regular, Full-Time; Non-Exempt Employee

Job Description: Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the general maintenance and physical oversight of assigned properties. Duties include day-to-day repairs, emergency maintenance, and preventative maintenance. This includes, but is not limited to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, trash pickup, and painting.

General Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks with a focus on quality workmanship.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Communicate regularly with the Property Manager about the status of work orders, projects, tenant communications, and/or inspections.
• Interact with tenants and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain inventory and care of company provided tools and equipment.

Requirements:

• Manage multiple tasks following specified procedures while adapting to changes in workload priorities.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Ability to routinely climb ladders, stairs, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds.
• 2+ years of experience in general maintenance.
• Certification in either HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or construction work is preferred.
