What you'll do....!
The successful candidate must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy and follow-up. This Paralegal must also be able to multitask, have excellent time management and organizational skills, and possess an upbeat attitude. The position requires an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies/Legal Studies or Paralegal Certificate.

The Day-to-Day:
  • Preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and client meetings
  • Transcribing, dictating, and ghostwriting on behalf of attorneys/associates
  • Managing assigned files from inception to trial, maintaining and organizing discovery materials, document and file management, including electronic filing
  • Summarizing legal documents and medical records, vetting witnesses and experts, communicating with experts, trial preparation, and attendance
  • Assisting in drafting and the preparation of pleadings and motions, correspondence and legal documents, conducting legal research
  • Managing case calendars and deadlines, maintaining communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court

  • Exceptional knowledge of legal terminology, concepts, and procedures.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information with ease.
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with ease.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring every task is completed perfectly and quickly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with legal software and databases (e.g., Clio, LexisNexis) is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree, passion for the legal field preferred.
