Position Summary:

Cennox is seeking a First Line Maintenance Technician to support our ATM equipment in the San Jose area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing triage services, including rebooting machines, replacing paper, clearing jams, gathering information, and escalating issues to the Second Line Maintenance Team as needed. The technician will be required to quickly and safely drive to the site of down equipment and provide timely and effective support.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective support to ATM equipment.
  • Quickly and safely drive to the site of the down equipment.
  • Perform triage services including:
    • Paper Jams
    • Card Jams
    • Currency Jams
    • Dispenser or Deposit Jams and Malfunctions
    • Communication Failures and Extended No Activity Situations
    • Receipt and Journal Failures
    • Replenishment of Consumables
  • Escalate issues to the Second Line Maintenance Team as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Experience and Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or technical support.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift/move 50 or more pounds – stand, sit, bend, stoop and reach freely
  • Vision correctable to 20/20
  • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs to access equipment
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
