As a Lawn Care Worker on our team, you operate mowers, leaf blowers, weed eaters, and other common tools to create and maintain carefully manicured outdoor spaces. We are especially interested in candidates with prior experience in lawn maintenance, ground maintenance, aerating, irrigation, and fertilization techniques. Lawn Maintenance Worker Duties and Responsibilities Use mowers, weed eaters, and common hand tools to trim grass, edge lawn areas, and maintain nearby plants and foliage Work outdoors in all weather conditions, maintaining energy and pace along with the team Operate leaf blowers and gather grass and hedge trimmings for removal. Lawn Maintenance Worker Requirements and Qualifications A valid driver's license and clean driving record Able to lift upwards of 50 pounds and bend, lift, and stand for extended periods Familiarity with common landscaping equipment Prior experience or work in lawn maintenance (preferred) Reliable and self-motivated Landscape Techs Work Duties and Responsibilities Planting trees, shrubs and flowers to either upgrade an existing outdoor space or create a new one Mow grass and prune trees and shrubs Treat lawn and landscaping with pesticides to remove harmful insects Properly store and handle all equipment, tools, sprinklers, etc. Oversee maintenance repairs to equipment, landscape structures, and hardscape walkways Landscaper Requirements and Qualifications High school degree or equivalent At least 18 years old Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping a plus Must know how to operate lawn maintenance equipment, such as lawnmowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers
