Actalent is hiring Lab Technicians in The Texas City, TX Area!

Job Description

• Performing gas testing on finished product such as Crude Oil, Gasoline, Diesel, Jet Fuel, Petrochemical, Petroleum etc.
• Work over 100 tests, a large majority will be automated
• Physical testing, color, odor, pH, viscosity, density, distillations, GC, sulfurs, viscosity, metal test, sediment by extraction and verifying acid numbers
• Running and completing lab reports
• Following safety guidelines
• Calibrating lab equipment.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of lab experience in the oil and gas industry

Additional Information

• Pitman rotating schedule
• First 4 on days (6am to 6pm) and second 4 on nights (6pm to 6am)
