Job Description

U.S. Bank has a rare opportunity as we are adding a Trainer to the team! Under minimal direction this individual will create customized digital training content for various internal teams while reviewing and updating training and end user documentation. We are seeking a strong communicator as this individual will collaborate on special team projects to create training content internal teams need and serve as a subject matter expert to various departments. The Technical Trainer will need to be able to work independently while also collaborating with others to make recommendations on improving department processes in support our various business partners. This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze training work order requests to interpret training needs
  • Collaborate with project managers, implementation, relationship managers, and internal teams to create individualized training programs
  • Log and track training sessions and departmental metrics
  • Gather and create monthly departmental statistical reports and checklists
  • Review and update training scripts with system changes, features and new functionality
  • Continually learn and keep up to date with new software features and functionality

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Four or more years of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong relationship management, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software including Microsoft Office
  • Three to five years of experience in training, project management, operations, or similar field
  • Experience within the financial services industry
