Job Title: Instructional Designer Department: WS
Expected Weekly Hours: 40 Reports to: Operations Manager
Location: Remote
Pay Range: $68.00 - $70.40 per hour
Position Summary
This position is responsible for making video content that will be used for instructional purposes to help end users optimize using the client’s products. If you are a video creator who enjoys working on innovative and large scale projects and developing relationships with many stakeholders, this position is for you!
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Study the client’s assigned product portfolio to develop strategies on how to cover key product features and use cases in video format
  • Build a library of product demo, training and enablement videos across the client’s product portfolio
  • Closely collaborate with client product teams to independently create end to end internal and external facing content that supports the product brand and launches
  • Evangelize video assets as an essential aspect of product and business development
  • Perform other duties as needed
Job Requirements
Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience recording and editing videos including voiceovers; experience to include
    • Collecting requirements from product development teams to address in A/V playback
    • Performing project management to accurately track and manage product feature changes vs. video revisions
  • Experience working on cross functional product development teams

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for clear, inclusive, and collaborative feedback
  • Ability to drive collaboration across multiple teams in different time zones
  • Demonstrated strong ability to remotely work well within a team environment, or independently; strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; ability to work and interact effectively with team members from other disciplines, cultures, and organizations
  • Ability to take initiative to ask questions, ask for help, or provide updates, without reluctance
  • Ability to meet the eligibility requirements for working in the US without RLA sponsorship for employment visa status
  • Strong computer skills that include proficiency with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio), Teams and SharePoint

Language Skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
Physical Demands:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel; reach with hand and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • At times, may require more than 40 hours per week to perform the duties of the position.

  • The position typically operates in a standard office environment.
  • This role may use standard office equipment such as computer, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
