Basic Job Functions:

The DevOps intern will be safety-minded, goal-oriented, and quality-driven. The individual will possess a broad knowledge of computer software development.

Responsibilities for the Intern/Coop DevOps include but are not limited to:

• Primary: Microsoft D365 Test Automation
• Scripting in Python, Powershell, Bash
• Writing small applications in .Net
• GitHub automation
• Azure DevOps Automation
• Creating/Running Ansible automation playbooks
• Linux system administration
• Cloud application deployment (Azure)

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Current enrollment in a technical school, community college, or other education facility.
• Qualification under the school’s requirements for Internship or Cooperative Education programs.
• Knowledge of Python

• Demonstrated strong commitment to Safety in all job aspects.
• .NET experience
• CI/CD Automation
• Database experience
• IPv4 networking understanding
• Be a team player and coachable.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
