The HR Systems Specialist for Brightview Senior Living will support the maintenance and structure of the human resource information system along with applicant tracking, talent management and all other systems supported by the HRIS team. This position serves as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
The HR Systems Specialist will serve as the subject matter expert for all HR systems used at Brightview and will review and audit HR systems and make recommendations to minimize issues and troubleshoot system errors. The HR Systems Specialist will be a crucial part of the HRIS team in training system users and developing and maintaining procedures

What will you be doing :
- Serve as the subject matter expert for all HR systems used within the organization.
- Review and audit HR data for accuracy. Make recommendations to team to minimize data issues.
- Troubleshoot system errors and issues as they arise and assess options for resolution. Test and implement solutions.
- Researches and resolves inquiries from associates, management, third party service providers and others.
- Analyzes data flow to, from, and within HR to identify, document and partner with HRIS Manager to implement process improvements.
- Assists HRIS Administrator with entering and maintaining associate data in all HR systems.
- Train end-users on system functionality and develop and maintain procedures, guidelines, and documentation for various HR systems.
- Writes, maintains, and supports a variety of reports and ad hoc queries collaborating with HR Analyst as needed.
- Lead small size HRIS projects with little or no direction from the manager; participate as HRIS team member on other non-HR business projects as needed.
- Provides back-up support for payroll and benefit related functions.
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources and ensures policies, procedures and reporting comply.

- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and five years' experience in HRIS; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with reporting writing tools preferred.
- Demonstrated hands on experience with HRIS applications such as UKGPro (UltiPro), Cornerstone and Taleo preferred.
- Ability to work with strict deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Exceptional analytical skills and detail orientation.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Excellent written communication skills including proper grammar and professional writing.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with associates at all levels and a wide range of business partners.
- Experience managing system implementation projects end to end and skilled at translating business objectives and needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
- Ability to apply reason, logic, and advanced problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.
- Knowledge of human resources laws and regulations.
