Overview:
The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Manager is responsible for the HRIS support and maintenance of Highgate’s HCM solution. This role will be a key stakeholder in implementation and maintenance of HRIS associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility, and usage of employee information for the HR department planning and activities. The HRIS manager will be the Subject Matter Expert on all data associated with the HCM platform including data architecture, functionality, data, queries/reporting, and vendor integrations.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the HRIS support, security, and maintenance of company’s HCM system, inclusive of but not limited to configuration of workflows, accruals, organizational mgmt., tables, labor metrics and models, integrations, user access
- Hires, develops, and advises team of HCM specialists and analysts that reviews and troubleshoots daily issues and action items within the HCM production and testing environment
- Manages permissions, access, and all system upgrades/enhancements including end-to-end testing
- Ensures data integrity for all inbound and outbound data to and from the HCM solution
- Provides timely metrics, trends, turnover reports, data analysis, and graphical representation to management as required utilizing HRIS, Excel, and other applications to manipulate, analyze, and present data to end users
- Provide technical and functional system expertise to help lead and direct projects; Participates in project analysis activities utilizing HR functional expertise
- Participates on project teams for the conversion of acquisitions to ensure a smooth transition to HCM
- Collaborates with the training teams to identify, develop, and document training of system use for various application users
- Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, Information Services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HCM design and implementation projects.
- Collaborates with leadership to identify and recommend needed improvements and enhancements to existing information services and platform
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local agencies relating to current HR/payroll laws and regulations.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in data management and security, HR technology, and HRIS applications.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or another related field
- At least 3 yrs. of prior HRIS experience in a leadership capacity
- Experience implementing and maintaining a complete HCM solution
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high volume, deadline driven, demanding environment
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills, and presentation skills
- Must be an action oriented and highly organized analytical person who enjoys challenges and working collaboratively
- Familiarity with human resource and payroll pay policies and regulations
- Project management experience required
