Job Description

We are looking for an HR Consultant to support our growing HR Consulting Agency. You will be joining our team and helping us grow and streamline our recruiting and HR Consulting work.

This is a remote, part-time position (1099), and you must be available for meetings during our normal business hours, 9-5 pm CST.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Act as a strategic partner to clients, providing advice and guidance on all aspects of HR with a focus on DEIB
  • Develop and implement HR systems, policies and procedures that promote a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace
  • Partner with clients to manage HR projects such as performance management, talent acquisition, and employee engagement
  • Provide guidance on legal compliance issues such as EEOC, ADA, and FMLA
  • Keep up to date with HR trends and best practices, and share this knowledge with clients
  • Build strong relationships with clients to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Review or provide a quality review of deliverables before they are sent to the client.
  • Attend recurring client meetings (9-5 PM CST)
  • Provides HR support such as creating performance evaluations, research, policy development with a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens, and handbook audits.

  • At least 5 Years of Human Resource experience in a generalist capacity, nonprofit or grassroots organization experience preferred.
  • Empathetic and engaging individual, who listens well, is responsive, solutions-focused, and results-oriented.
  • Proven leadership success in advancing a strong culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, through innovating and implementing organization-wide programs and policies.
  • In-depth knowledge of HRIS technology, with management experience in systems transition and implementation, is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional communications skills - written, verbal and interpersonal - and a strong ability to tailor communication style to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated success at cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and creating partnerships at all organizational levels to achieve results.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and can pivot while meeting deadlines and producing high-quality results.
  • Has an eye for details (if something is out of place, it bothers you!).
  • You are looking to grow with an organization
  • Consider yourself to be tech-savvy (you can easily navigate Google Suite and other technology and project management platforms). (Click Up and Slack experience preferred)
  • Able to work independently and with little oversight needed when it comes to getting work done.
  • You must have a working laptop and a reliable connection to the internet.
  • You are available to work at least 10-15 hours a week during normal business hours (at your specific time zone). Note: Due to the nature of our client work, Legacy HRC cannot accept candidates who are only available to work evenings or odd hours around other positions.
  • Experience working remotely as an independent contractor is preferred.


COMPENSATION:

This is a part-time 1099 position, and pay is $30-$45/hour based on experience. You must be available to work 10-15 hrs/per week.
