Job Description

The HIM Tech II is responsible for efficiently and accurately prepping, scanning, indexing, and quality checking documents into the Horizon Patient Folder (HPF) document imaging system. Associate is able to prioritize duties, work with limited supervision, and able to troubleshoot all equipment and process.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or college degree preferred, but not required.
• Acute Care Hospital and Clinic Medical Record experience preferred.
  
• Working knowledge of Meditech and Horizon Patient Folder (HPF) preferred, but not required.
