Position: T1 Help Desk Analyst

Duration: 3-6 Mo C2H

Shift: M-F (6A – 6P) – 8 Hour Shift!! Must have flexibility to work within this time frame (Will be the same every week, but will be assigned)

Must Haves:

  • 1-3+ Years of T1 Help Desk Experience
  • Troubleshooting Windows OS /Office Suite / Hardware
  • Experience utilizing a ticketing system – ServiceNow preferred
  • Experience with or exposure to VMWare
  • Call Center / Customer Facing Experience
  • Must have a customer first mentality – EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE & SOFT SKILLS ARE EVERYTHING HERE
  • Associate Degree or Above

Plusses:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Related Field Highly Preferred
  • ServiceNow Ticketing System
  • Experience building out /working on computers

Day to Day: A client of Insight Global is looking for a Help Desk Specialist to join their T1 Service Desk Team in Charleston, WV to provide phone support to internal employees on a national level. Responsible for running with all tickets (Level 1) via phone, email, and walk-up on-site support. In a first call resolution environment support Mobile OS Devices, Windows Operating Systems, and provide general support (including VPN, connectivity issues, web issues, etc.). There will occasionally be some diagnosis on undocumented problems.

This is a customer facing role where customer service should be the number one priority. Create a positive customer experience and build rapport and trust with business partners and users of IT products/services. Work with technical and non-technical customers, so you must be able to explain troubleshooting steps in layman’s terms. The ideal candidate has a passion for IT, drive for future goals, and excellent communication. There will training the first few weeks, candidates must have flexibility for their schedule.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
