Position title: Cylinder Handler
Location: Marlborough MA 50 D'Angelo Dr Bldg 1 Marlborough Massachusetts 01752
Duration: 2 months
Shift: Second shift, 3 pm - 11:30 pm
Pay Rate: $17/hr on W2 Without benefits.
Job Description:
- Works under very close supervision, monitored task by task.
- Work is recurrent, routine or repetitive in nature.
- Maintains a safe and clean work area.
- Majority of time employee will be prepping cylinders by scrapping outdated labels off of cylinders.
- Handles both high- and low-pressure gas cylinders and cylinder equipment within a facility and/or prepares cylinders for shipment.
- Handle/transfer cylinders to and from ground storage
- Assist production personnel in removing full cylinders from fill area.
- Sorts empty cylinders by type and places in empty inventory in readiness for filling.
- Inspect all cylinders for general condition and report all issues to management.
- Checks for cylinder quantities, styles and product and assist with inventory tracking.
- Report all cylinder shortages to management.
- Reviews customer orders and pulls items from inventory; may assist with accompanying paperwork for shipment.
- High School Diploma or GED Minimum 1 year experience in a warehouse or factory setting
- Must have the ability to perform basic math functions
- Ability to read and comprehend MSDS, FDA, DOT, OHSA and other company documents
- Must possess excellent customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills, and computer knowledge.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
