Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in (RESPONSIBILITIES):
- Sound understanding of soil, groundwater, and waste investigation and remediation strategies
- Client engagement approach and stewardship
- Complex problem solving as it relates to environmental remediation and economic decision making
- Balancing the triangle of Scope, Schedule, and Budget to produce the best results possible for our clients
- Diverse professional networks spanning the globe and multitudes of disciplines
- Conduct research, collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documents
- Opportunities to engage in a wide range of environmental and geographical settings
- Establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with co-workers and clients – effective collaborators welcome
What you will bring to the team (what they possess):
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Applied Science (Engineering, Geology, or Science)
- 0-3 years’ experience
- Drive and ability to obtain Professional license (Engineering, Geologist, etc).
- Detail oriented with the ability to balance a diverse and changing workload
- Critical thinking and problem solving – ability to identify multiple solutions to a problem
- Willingness to respond to call outs during non-routine working hours
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and aptitude
- Positive attitude, very strong interpersonal skills
- Conduct research, collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documents
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet project timelines
- Self-motivated and willingness to work in a team in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in continuing professional development
- Must reside near our St. Paul, Minnesota office.
- Willingness to travel, including overnights, to project sites in the Midwest
- Travel is expected up to 50% of the time
- The role requires safe driving skills, ability to work in the field under varied weather conditions, and ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
- OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus
