Job Description

One of our Govt. clients in the State of North Carolina is looking for Senior Front End Developer and UI Design Lead for its public and internal websites/applications.

The candidate will need to come onsite on the first day to collect equipment.

All candidates must provide a portfolio website URL to be considered.

Candidate Must be either US Citizen or a Green Card holder.

This is a remote position

The contract length is 12 months with a higher possibility to extend for upto 36 months.

Job Summary:

• Candidate will have at least 8 years design/development experience and an established history of delivering web sites/applications.
• This position is critical for the Web Systems team to deliver on its mandate of building and maintaining modern web solutions for NCDOT customers.
• Must have extensive experience building solutions with JavaScript, Vue, and CSS, design and mockups with Adobe XD and Figma.
• Proficient with all aspects of large-scale design and front-end development efforts, including connecting to REST endpoint web services.
• Ability to advise and collaborate with content and engineering design teams on component design/development.
• Ability to work directly with business customers to gather requirements, facilitate testing, and triage/support user and system issues.
• Ability to work with limited supervision to deliver both design and front-end development solutions across multiple projects.

Required Skillsets:

• 8 Years of experience in HTML, JavaScript, CSS
• 5 Years of experience Mockup/prototype tools Adobe XD, Figma
• 5 Years of experienceVue.js
• 5 Years of experience Component/CSS libraries like Tailwind, Material Design, or Quasar
• 5 Years of experience Git
• 7 Years of experience Web Accessibility
• 5 Years of experienceNPM, Node, Gulp.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $95.00 per hour
