Job Description

General Technologies, Inc. is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This person will be the first interaction that employees, vendors, clients, and visitors will communicate with either face-to-face or over the phone. He/she will handle all incoming calls and greet individuals visiting the company's main office.


Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

  • Greet clients and visitors with a positive, professional, and helpful attitude.
  • Answer phones in a professional manner and route calls as necessary.
  • Communicate with appropriate party when visitors arrive for their scheduled appointments.
  • Help maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting visitor badges as necessary while maintaining visitor logs.
  • Sorting and distributing mail.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Schedule appointments, as needed.


Requirements:

  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus.
  • Prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field.
  • Consistent, professional dress, and manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.

Job Type & Schedule:
Full time, Monday Friday, 8am - 5pm.


Job offer will be contingent to passing a drug screen, background check, providing I-9 documentation and signing a confidentiality agreement before they are able to work for the company.
