Job Description
  • This is a part time, onsite position located in Greer, SC. Working days and hours are flexible. Will work between 20 and 30 hours per week.
  • Verify logistics invoice content from factual or from price verification perspective according to contract conditions, non-contracted spot quotes or accessorial approvals.
  • Work in line with approved documentations to ensure that there is no unjustified transport cost approved for payment.
  • Monitoring the correct invoice assignment to corresponding cost centers.
  • Monitoring and validation of deliveries.
  • Create and update location specific documents to be used for invoice verification process.
  • Use different systems which support freight cost clearing processes and develop overall freight cost clearing knowledge that enables her/him to indicate process improvement and cost savings opportunities.
  • Responsible for operational issue resolution, cost data analysis and correspondence with stakeholders and logistics service providers.
  • Responsible for monthly KPI reporting as well as ad hoc reports as needed.

Qualifications
  • Must be able to commute to the Greer, SC office to work onsite.
  • Must be willing and able to work part time hours.
  • BS or BA degree in Supply Chain Management Finance and Accounting fields or above preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the field of auditing.
  • Knowledge of logistics freight payment and invoicing processes, billing and terminology as they pertain to different modes.
  • A high degree of independence, responsible and cost-conscious working in a precise and structured way.
  • Analytical approach with enthusiasm for detail and quick comprehension.
  • Strong computer/systems skills: SAP, Excel, Power Query, Power BI, etc.
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills with ability to work with cross-functions.
  • Project management experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
