This General Accounting Analyst role is responsible for the day-to-day reconciliation of various Balance Sheet accounts and financial review. This role is tasked to review, analyze, research, reconcile, troubleshoot, and communicate any issues related to the assigned reconciliations and financial review in a timely, clear, concise and accurate manner. This role is involved with monthly and month end processes to ensure a timely and accurate month end and year end close. Ad-hoc reporting, audit requests, and project support are additional tasks that this role may be asked to assist with.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  • Responsible for the analysis and review Site financial and Lease information.
  • Leverage improvements from Site Audit findings to meet our Controls and Compliance requirements.
  • Management of Expense Payables to ensure that appropriate accruals are recorded timely and accurately, including Financial Shared Services (FSS) assistance with Accounts Payable management.
  • Participate in the month-end and year-end financial close, including balance sheet review and reconciliations.
  • Execute the continuous improvement of processes and reporting through Transactional lean initiatives as well as the preparation of Ad-hoc reporting as needed by management, team members, or field personnel.
  • Accountable for the reconciliation and completion of the balancing of transmitted financial information.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS


  • FORMAL EDUCATION:
  • Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution

  • Preferred:
  • MBA or other certification

  • KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
  • Required:
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Entry level to 2 years relevant experience in financial and accounting analysis

  • Preferred:
  • Knowledge of S-W systems – OneStream, Oracle, Oracle Cloud, OnBase, Access, etc.
  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices

  • TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
