Overview:
Oasis has an exciting opportunity for a Facility Operations Manager in the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI). HNI focuses on providing enterprise support to over 110 active Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve installations and bases. The office provides technical and policy support and provides C3I infrastructure for the USAF enterprise applications.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Utilize comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies, and practices of emergency management and building management. Will be responsible for providing established policy on all issues, processes and procedures related to emergency management to building occupants. Work with the Hanscom Base Safety Manager and other base personnel to coordinate emergency and safety management processes and procedures. Brief the workforce on all of the above.
JOB RESPONSBILITIES:
Building management duties include working with contractors, vendors, base civil engineers, and other base personnel on all activities required to maintain the office building to include but not limited to:
- Track requested and scheduled projects relating to design and maintenance of the facility and supporting equipment (e.g., HVAC, Fire Alarm).
- Maintain the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
- Record and maintain information on safety certifications and inspections.
- Manage data, adjust and track work orders.
- Project and coordinate work schedules and recurring work details (e.g., Snow Removal, Building Clean-up) with management/supervisors of building occupants.
- Monitor service calls and do-it-now emergency response teams.
- Collect and record budget information.
- Coordinate with engineering technicians for mechanical equipment, air conditioning, refrigeration, fire systems, stand-by emergency power, and related preventative maintenance programs.
- Track the assignment of reserved parking spaces.
- Track the cleaning and maintenance of the facility.
- Support Group readiness for Base Readiness Exercises and Unit Compliance Inspection activities as required.
- Help manage the Division self-inspection process, including checklist tracking and completion, as requested by MICT Administrator.
- Utilize SOCCER, Workflow, LiveLink, and other necessary Government tracking systems.
- Facilitate all Official Mail, Fed Ex, and UPS pickups/deliveries.
- Assist with Emergency Management procedures (e.g., Building Evacuation Plans) to accomplish occupant compliance with accountability requirements.
- Escorting personnel, visitors, and other parties as needed to complete work duties, subject to local security office or organizational policies.
- In support of those programs with stringent security requirements, personnel shall be knowledgeable of DoD security procedures, to include classified transmission, protection of incoming mail, courier requirements, security incident reporting, and security violation sanctions.
- Provide security support to the HN Directorate’s controlled facilities to include, but not limited to:
- Exercising delegated access control to secure areas.
o Assisting in opening and closing controlled areas.
o Assisting in arming and disarming facility alarm systems as required.
o Assisting in accomplishing end-of-duty day security checks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10 years of experience, 5 of which must be in the DoD.
- Active Top Secret Clearance
