Job Description Summary

As a Senior EHS Manager, Digital & Analytics, you will lead the EHS data management program to anticipate risk, identify opportunities, and drive improvement to protect our people and the environment. You will lead digital strategy deployment, develop innovative solutions, and lead projects to digitize and simplify data collection and output processes across GE HealthCare (GEHC) globally. You will report to the EHS Governance and Risk Management Leader and you will be a member of the GEHC Global EHS staff.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects to integrate global EHS digital demands and bring technology to the frontline to improve EHS compliance and performance.

  • Deliver data and business insights to support data-driven decision making and strategy deployment across the environment, safety, and sustainability space.

  • Assess and align data collection processes, management systems, hardware and analytical procedures; develop data science and advanced EHS analytics capabilities across the enterprise.

  • Evaluate new and innovative technologies, such as wearables, remote sensors and artificial intelligence to collect, manage and analyze leading EHS data to predict and address areas of risk and inefficiency.

  • Design and build data quality assurance processes and methods for EHS.

  • Partner with key data protection, privacy, and information security leaders to ensure safe and secure data handling.

  • Collect data in response to external reporting requirements and information requests from regulatory agencies or other internal/external parties.

  • Provide training to drive high end-user engagement and grow business intelligence capability and effective utilization of data visualization tools. Perform day-to-day system support tasks for system user groups, as required.

  • Respond to detailed inquiries, present information, influence and interface effectively with all levels of the organization as well as organizations outside of GEHC (customers and regulatory agencies).

  • Influence business leaders through strong reporting and analytics, presentation skills, and verbal and written communication

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.

  • Minimum 5 years of analytics and data management experience.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills and experience with structured and unstructured data, systems analysis, data manipulation, and the ability to derive meaningful insights from data.

  • Proficient in data visualization programs such as Tableau or Power BI.

  • Working knowledge of data storage and transfer processes (Teradata, AWS, ODP, SAP, etc.).

  • Ability to travel to locations both domestically and internationally up to 20%, mostly domestic travel.

Desired Skills

  • Minimum 2 years working with Benchmark Gensuite or similar at a multi-site business or P&L level.

  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning software technology skills and tools.

  • Previous experience working in EHS or environmental sustainability domain.
