Urgently Hiring Entry Level Marketing Associates!

Full Time / Entry Level Role / Austin, TX

Our organization has been working diligently to assist the highly-rated charity that has been around for more than half a century. Our organization is passionate about preventing child abuse and making sure that children are taken out of dangerous environments and placed with a supportive foster family. We have established advocacy centers in multiple locations across the United States, each of which has therapy programs for kids. Donations will be allocated to the establishment of additional advocacy centers, providing physical and mental health care for children, and contributing basic necessities so that kids have their own possessions.

We are seeking top talent to join our rapidly growing team. We are committed to developing leaders, providing excellent leadership training and growth opportunities to those with the drive to put their mark on our campaigns. In this role you will be a part of our fundraising team, the front lines to keep our organization afloat. You will be attending many different high foot traffic events, indoors and outdoors, to promote our organization. You will be speaking to guests to spread the word about our organization, encourage them to donate funds, and explain where those funds go towards.

General Responsibilities:

• Have an outgoing personality to engage with a wide variety of people on our charity efforts
• Comfortable engaging potential donors in a one or one, or group setting
• Help the development of fundraising campaigns, the set up/displays/merchandise, the execution / presenting our message to the community, and reporting back the results
• Participate in a wide variety of fundraising events (indoors and outdoors) where you will speak with potential donors and explain what our organization does. Events are always different and changing
• Encourage guests to donate, and explain exactly what those funds would be going towards
• Strive to turn every interaction into a donation
• Be able to answer any questions from potential donors regarding our charitable partners and ensure that the utmost professionalism is held in these interactions
• Have a self motivating, competitive spirit in order to help raise as much money as possible
• Participate in daily and weekly team meetings at the office where goals will be discussed, set, and also contribute individual feedback to improve as a company

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Some weekend availability required
• Must have a passion for helping others and a love for working with the public
• Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, and be able to adapt to speaking with various audiences for hours at a time
• Must be a team player and bring a competitive spirit to help drive the team towards its goals
• Must possess a self motivating drive to hit individual and team donation goals
• Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors
• Must be comfortable standing for multiple hours at a time
• Must be comfortable working a wide variety of different, in person, local events
