Aston Carter is hiring Patient Registration Specialists for a hospital in Lafayette, IN!

Pay: $17/hr

Shift: 6p-6a rotating - with every other weekend

MUST train for 2 weeks M-F 8am-5pm

Duties:

This position is located in the Emergency Department. This is a very fast-paced position that requires you to be quick on your feet.

• Train/work in 3 different areas of the ED: front desk, ambulance bay, and floor
• Responsible for registrations and insurance verification
• Half of your shift will be on the floor, half of your shift will be at the front desk or ambulance bay
• Listen to overhead radio system for incoming registrations needed

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and empathy skills
• Self-starter and strong prioritization skills
• Previous healthcare experience is NOT required - will consider retail, restaurant, office, any experience!
• Ability to be on feet 90% of your day
• Stable job history
