Responsibilities for electrician helper
- Moving material and equipment necessary to fulfill job requirements
- Inspecting and arranging temporary lighting for the acceptable illumination of the work area
- Ensuring work areas are free from slip and trip hazards, and performing fire prevention activities during hot work operations
- Removing and installing cables as directed by the Leadperson
- Banding cableways, and other related duties as directed by Management
- Cleaning work area and equipment
- Respond to all types of electrical emergencies that may occur
- Tests continuity of circuit to insure electrical compatibility and safety of components using testing instruments such as VOM, Megger, Amp Meter
- Digging out trenches and duct bank
Qualifications for electrician helper
- Must have personal hand tools to complete all types of electrical jobs and projects
- Must be able to terminate, Interpret blueprints, Run cable tray
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
