Job Title: Document Control Clerk
***Work Location: Atlanta, GA ***
Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interview
As the Document Control Clerk, you will be responsible for management of all documents needed to meet the daily deadlines required in the department. To process all print requests, whether by scanning new drawings or plotting from existing electronic files.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Based on established work processes, review, log, copy, distribute and file all outgoing and incoming communications, construction documentation, submittals, and other document types
  • Basic understanding of construction projects and documentation system
  • Responsible for project folder set up, folder maintenance process, formulating registers and the point of contact for document, drawing number allocation.
  • Ensure documentation has the correct approvals, is complete and legible.
  • Prepare and process records for scanning and archiving
  • Perform quality control of scanned images and data entry
  • Establish and maintain an electronic and hard copy filing system of project documents or departmental documents, such as engineering design, procurement and supplier documents, manuals and procedures, communications or any other department-specific materials
  • Provide support to Project Manager during Audit and as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive documentation.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelors in Business Administration or related field
  • 3+ years’ administrative/data entry experience
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Must have good data entry and inventory database skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
  • Knowledge of business office procedures.
  • Attention to detail and documentation.
  • Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, employees, and the public.
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented.
