Job Overview

Direct a broad range of activities and functions to ensure effective operations and the achievement of organization objectives. Will support upper CEAS Leadership (Dean/Associate Deans/Senior Business Officer) in the implementation of the college's strategic plan.

Essential Functions

  • Direct a broad range of activities and functions to ensure effective operations and the achievement of organization objectives (e.g., fringe benefits, renovation projects, facility administration rate calculations, applicable expenditures, etc.).
  • May formulate budget and/or monitor expenditures in accordance with university rules, and federal and state regulations.
  • May prepare budget reports for internal and external requirements.
  • Evaluate operational activities to ensure compliance and make recommendations.
  • Act as liaison with internal and external constituents.
  • May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience

Seven (7) years of management experience that must include three (3) years of supervision.

Additional Qualifications Considered

  • Master’s Degree in Business or Public Administration.
  • College/University financial experience (i.e. budgeting, forecasting, enrollment planning).
  • Experience with university/college financial systems (i.e. SAP).
  • Knowledge of Data Analytics.

  • Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
