Job Title:
Senior Manager - Digital Transformation Community Pharmacy
Current Need
The Senior Manager Tech Transformation Community Pharmacy (SM DT) leverages their deep understanding of Information Technology and their business acumen to assess how technology can enable business priorities for the Community Pharmacy Segment of the Pharmaceutical Solutions and Services (PSaS) business. They build and execute plans to deliver technology and drive adoption to maximize value creation.
Position Description
The SM DT is a "trusted advisor" to senior business stakeholders, to establish and maintain value-driven, relationships with specific Community Pharmacy Segments, and to proactively manage business demand. They link IT’s capabilities to business partners’ goals, and openly pursue these goals in a direct, constructive way.
They are challengers, not just relationship builders, so that they become "order shapers" rather than "order takers. They love to debate and build consensus with their business partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Works with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with business strategies and contributes to the business unit strategic planning process
- Anticipates business needs and identifies and proposes IT products and services to fulfill those needs (This includes the IT opportunity pipeline/funnel management and qualification, as well as the internal value modeling and proposing process.)
- Facilitates the planning and execution of business changes using technology. Leverages formal organizational change management processes to drive adoption and value
- Serves as a communication channel between business and IT delivery teams, helping remove barriers and ensuring value capture.
- Leverages process and task mining to discover, monitor, and improve real processes
- Advises business teams on the risks and benefits of using technology to build competitive advantage and improve business performance
- Promotes an understanding of IT roles, processes, and activities to the business, as well as advises/communicates with business team from an operational readiness for new IT services and capabilities
- Works with business and IT executives to define success criteria/KPIs, and measures, tracks and reports on them
- Identifies, manages and resolves issues reported by business units as needed
- May assist in the development of service-level agreements (SLAs) or selection of vendors in accordance with IT standards
Minimum requirements:
Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience
Critical skills:
- Typically has 10 to 15+ years of IT and business facing work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments
- Exposure in the health industry, major business processes and key performance indicators is strongly preferred
- Experience with program and portfolio management, Demand/Capacity management, business analysis, and organizational change management
- Preferred five or more years of experience with managing delivery teams in an onsite and offshore model
- Experience in strategic planning, Business case analysis, client relationship management
- Broad understanding of the current and emerging technology trends and developments especially in the digital space
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
- Solid planning, financial/budget and performance management skills
Education:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems and other related fields

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
$109,700 - $182,800
