Customer Service Representative

Role Summary:

Provides a positive experience for our direct to consumer, independent retail customers and our sales teams by demonstrating above and beyond service standards. Role Type and Location:

  • This Is Not a Remote Position. Relocation Expenses Will Not Be Reimbursed
  • In Office Position – Corporate Headquarters in Bowling Green KY
  • Part Time Hourly, Non-Exempt (16-25 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 8:00 – 12:00. Some Friday’s and flexibility during the week may be required)

Responsibilities:

  • Processes orders via phone, fax, email, live-chat, and web, according to customers’ desired delivery dates and volumes and/or new product launches for independent retailer and .com accounts.
  • Respond to and investigate all inquiries regarding orders, shipments, complaints, etc., requiring analysis of each situation to determine the best approach and use of resources to maintain and achieve the highest standards in customer confidence, satisfaction, and brand loyalty.
  • Requires high level of understanding of company resources, product knowledge, enthusiasm, and energized approach to the day-to-day functions of the customer service team.
  • Manage personal and high-volume shared company email boxes.
  • Initiate call tags and issue credits for product returns.
  • Responsible for maintaining our sample warehouse inventory including, but not limited to stocking, archiving, and ensuring the space is clean and organized.
  • Responsible for distributing inbound mail and/or packages to appropriate recipients.
  • Effectively copes with change; can shift gears comfortably; can decide and act without having the total picture; isn't upset when things are up in the air; doesn't have to finish things before moving on but is excellent with follow through to ensure all tasks are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Complete end-of-day reports and processes.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Experience, Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

  • 1-2 years in an office environment with customer service, administrative, or sales related field experience.
  • Proven initiative and drive for results.
  • Keyboarding and data entry experience.
  • Familiarity with multiple operating programs/systems is a plus.
  • Must be fluent in English and exhibit excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently.
  • Must possess a collaborative, cooperative, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Must exhibit strong problem resolution skills.
  • Some Fridays and/or extended hours may be required.

Academic Qualifications:

  • Associate degree preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit and work on computer for long periods of time in an open, cubicle environment.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
