Hours: 40 Hours Per Week, at our facility in Northeast Portland

Rate of Pay: $18-20 per hour
Overtime hours may consistently be an option.
Working days are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. There is some flexibility in these hours.
Mickelberry Gardens is a Portland-based dietary supplement company. We manufacture a line of products based around honey, beeswax, bee pollen, propolis, and medicinal herbs. Environmental sustainability, sourcing ingredients from local producers, and being a great place to work are core company values. We pride ourselves in quality and expect excellence from our staff. We currently have a small staff of 6, along with 2 working owners. We operate in a laid-back and friendly environment, and we work hard to meet our goals.
This is an in-person job - we follow all state guidelines to keep our staff safe from COVID. The workspace is spacious, and you are able to remain at a 12-foot-plus distance from your co-workers at most times. We are not currently requiring staff to mask, but we monitor COVID guidelines closely and will make changes to our policies as needed.
We’re looking for someone with some applicable production experience to join our team. Organization, cleanliness, efficiency, and a positive attitude are all attributes we are looking for. Interested applicants should be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail, be capable of being on your feet and doing repetitive movements, occasionally lifting 15-25 pounds, and be an effective problem solver and team player.
Job duties:
· Assisting with our bottling line as needed: Bottling, labeling, sealing, shrink banding all products
· Operating equipment necessary for each process safely
· Filling out appropriate paperwork and records for each batch and process
· Processing and packaging honey, beeswax, propolis, and bee pollen
· Cleaning and dishes
· Assisting with other production related tasks as needed

· We offer paid sick time and vacation time. Sick time begins accruing at the start of work, and vacation time begins accruing after 6 months of employment.
· We offer a health insurance reimbursement - you maintain your own individual health plan, and we'll contribute $275 per month towards that cost, giving you the flexibility to choose the plan that is best for you.
· We pay through a 30 minute lunch break, and provide snacks, tea, and coffee to enjoy while you're at work.
· $40 per month (retail value) in Mickelberry Gardens products provided to use and share with family and friends.
· $5.00 daily reimbursement available for commuting via bus or bike
