Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Consultant II to support the Office of Connected Care (OCC) at the Department of Veterans Affairs. In this role, you will apply your expertise to develop programs and implement creative and innovative solutions to address customer challenges. As a critical member of our team, you will contribute to extending access to care for veterans and health care professionals through digital technology. Your strong analytical skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and commitment to delivering results will drive the success of our mission to provide care to patients where and when they need it.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop programs and implement creative and innovative solutions to address customer needs and requirements in the Office of Connected Care.
  • Research and analyze customer requirements, applying your knowledge to determine the accuracy and reasonableness of data, recommendations, and solutions developed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including program managers, to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to address customer challenges.
  • Document and summarize the results of research and analysis, developing and recommending creative and innovative solutions to customer problems.
  • Support program managers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects related to the Office of Connected Care, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate project status, findings, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and other events to gather information, share insights, and build relationships with customers and partners.
  • Continuously update your knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the effectiveness and relevance of your work.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in consulting, project management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, and synthesize complex information and develop actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other relevant software tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal healthcare organizations.
  • Familiarity with digital healthcare technologies, such as telehealth, electronic health records, and mobile health applications.
  • Experience in healthcare operations, policy, or regulatory compliance.
  • Proven track record of success in managing complex projects and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with deployment and training initiatives.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in ever-changing work environment.

Eligibility:

Compensation:

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000
