2HB Incorporated is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer in order to support its government customer at Annapolis Junction, MD. The Analytic Hosting Platform team is searching for a Cloud Software Engineer 2 to work with a massively parallel enterprise platform, built with Java on Free and Open-Source Software products including Kubernetes, Hadoop and Accumulo, to enable execution of data-intensive analytics on a managed infrastructure. Peraton is seeking a self-motivated Java developer who proactively completes tasks with a strong attention to detail. The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team and will be exposed to a variety of technologies depending on customer requirements

Position Requirements:

• Skilled in Java, database technologies (MySQL Postgres etc) and have some experience with Map Reduce programming model and technologies (such as Hadoop, Hive, Pig, etc)
• Possess additional knowledge of Linux OS development, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, and Ansible

This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/FS Polygraph Clearance.
