About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Associate within the Cards Retail and Merchant Services (CRMS) Team.

The Business Execution Associate is dedicated to Risk Management Programs. This role will focus on Business Continuity and Resiliency Planning (BCRP) following the Wells Fargo Enterprise multi-phased methodology to ask questions, recommend strategies, and implement changes / improvements to deliver a strong, well-documented plan. The role will serve fulltime as a Business Resiliency Coordinator (BRC). The successful candidate will work closely with CRMS process owners, account resolution managers and will have interaction with partner organizations to include Business Unit Controls, Compliance, Operational Risk and Legal. The BRC will work on diverse functions and/or operations/production oversight for multiple products and departments (ie: Pre-Charge Off Collections, Post Charge Off Recovery Collections, Legal Remedies, Bankruptcy, Contact Preferences and Debt Validations) and will utilize thorough knowledge of the business unit's functional area or products to support design and updates to programs.

In addition, the role will provide risk consultation for a variety of diverse support activities and/or operations/production oversight for multiple business groups or a Line of Business within Consumer Collections & Services. These activities may include:
  • Business resiliency planning, working in close partnership with the Enterprise Resiliency Office and the CCS Run and Change Organizations
  • Interaction across risk management programs such as Information Security, End User Computing Tools, Identity Theft, Records Management, Fraud Program, creates and maintains documentation to share and monitor information
  • Coordination and monitoring the implementation and maintenance of processes, procedures, and policies specific to the BRP and risk management programs
  • Preparing correspondence; memorandums; reports; presentations or other assigned documentation, change communications, reporting and analysis. Phases include business impact analysis, risk assessment and mitigation, business and technology recovery strategies, data collections and implementation, exercise and maintenance and change control. May participate in special projects as needed.
In this role, you will:
  • Participate in planning and executing a variety of programs, services, and initiatives, and monitor key indicators to ensure effective performance and control management of assigned operations or business groups
  • Review basic initiatives including policy or process changes, process improvements, technology enhancements, and conduct regular reviews to identify efficiencies and cost savings opportunities
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgement while developing an understanding of policies and procedures, best practices, and initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with mid-level managers or cross-functional business partners
  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff
  • Manage all of required aspects related to BCRP Exercise and Maintenance Requirements, which may include Business Impact Analysis, Risk Assessments, Business Recovery Strategies, Functional Exercises, Enterprise lead Quality Review, Data Validation and Plan Distributions.
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 6+ months of Business Operations, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Wells Fargo BRDR Certification
  • Knowledge of ORS (BCRP SOR)
