Business Development Coordinator
The successful candidate will learn everything needed to partner with the Sales Leader and Risk Advisor team to facilitate growth at Deland, Gibson. This job will be a great foundation to learning about the industry, how we do things at Deland, Gibson and how to effectively impact new business.
Sales Team “Air Traffic Controller”: This role is responsible for the operational side of the sales team. DG has 10+ advisors and we see this increasing to 15+ in the short term. With a goal of keeping the advisors in their most productive state, this role will aid in accountability, operational help, and organization.
Sales Team Facilitator
- Identify cross-sell opportunities for Personal and Commercial Insurance, Employee Benefits and GRIP HR.
- Prospecting analysis and related reporting
- Increase prospecting capacity for sales team via marketing and events
- Webinars, Whitepapers, Blogs, Vlogs, In-person Events
- Monitor Website for new business inquiries and see that they are quoted, assigned, and won.
- Maximize usage of DG purchased Technology
Prospect Advocate:
- Maintain prospects for Sales Team. This includes top 20 and monetized pipeline in CRM: Applied Epic
- Keep the sales team focused on the vital and essential tasks and prospects with goal of maximizing productivity.
- Assist sales team members with CRM utilization (training, procedure development)
- Ensure CRM is secure and an accurate representation of agency producers’ sales pipeline.
Client Web Portal Champion (MyDG)
- Responsible for configuration and maintenance of the agency’s Client Portal.
- Trains new clients on the portal.
- Monitors utilization and implements strategies to maximize utilization.
Sales Process Coordinator:
- Coordinate the execution of the GRIP and Internal Sales processes.
- GRIP Risk Reduction Plan design: Executive Briefing, Risk Identification Clinic and Risk Reduction Plan support.
- Works with PL, CL and GRIP HR quoting teams to acquire accurate information and applications for new business while fostering a constant sense of urgency.
- 3+ years of sales experience and / or 1+ years of insurance experience preferred
