POSITION: ECE Assistant I, II, III/Bus Driver
SALARY: $15.74-$17.25, per hour DOE
REPORTS TO: ECE Site Supervisor
LOCATION: Inchelium Head Start, Inchelium WA
Basic Functions: This is a non-exempt position.
ECE Asst. I: Assists one or more early childhood teachers in the education, care, supervision, and instruction of pre-school aged children, in classrooms, common areas, playgrounds, and during transportation at a center dedicated to school readiness goals in children, and in the community. Maintains and prepares classroom and related environments and materials.
ECE Asst. II: Assists one or more early childhood teachers in the education, care, supervision, and instruction of pre-school aged children, in classrooms, common areas, playgrounds, and during transportation at a center dedicated to school readiness goals in children, and in the community. Maintains and prepares classroom and related environments and materials. Assists early childhood teacher as needed with required forms. Assists in developing play-oriented curriculum.

III: Assists one or more early childhood teachers in the education, care, supervision, and instruction of pre-school aged children, in classrooms, common areas, and playgrounds at a center dedicated to school readiness goals in children, and in the community. Maintains and prepares classroom and related environments and materials. Assists early childhood teacher as needed with required forms. Assists in developing play-oriented curriculum. Operate bus in accordance with all applicable local, tribal, state and federal regulations. Ensures the health, safety and welfare of the children, staff and volunteers during bus transportation to and from the center and on field trips.
