General Function:
The candidate will be part of a team that is responsible to provide excellent customer service to all areas of the Camp as needed. This position is responsible for providing leadership in the administration of all business functions of the branch, including but not limited to registration, marketing, financial assistance, budgeting and recordkeeping. He/she will also have direct responsibilities during the financial assistance campaign. The Branch Business Manager also assists the staff of the business office in the areas of Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, Human Resources, and Reception.
In addition, the responsibilities include answering phones, payment processing, assisting customers with group and individual camper registration, representing camp at open houses and check in days, and other duties as assigned. This is a part time, as needed position for 40 weeks full time for 12 weeks during the summer with occasional weekend assignments.
Know How:
The Business Operations Associate must possess outstanding communication and organizational skills in order to relate to the entire camp community and to achieve the desired results on multiple simultaneous projects. The incumbent must possess excellent data accuracy and attention to detail. Familiarity with Google Calendar and Google Docs, spreadsheet data management, email campaigns, and some bookkeeping skills are necessary to be successful in this position.
