Job Description

We are a CPA firm in Richardson seeking a bookkeeper who would be responsible for helping small businesses with their monthly accounting and reporting. We offer a family-friendly work environment with flexible hours and competitive wages based on experience.
Job Description:
  • Reconciling bank statements and credit card statements
  • Payroll processing and payroll reporting
  • Understanding the chart of accounts and making journal entries
  • 1099 processing
  • Sales Tax Reporting
  • Communicating with various state and federal agencies
  • Working with the clients to obtain the information necessary to prepare a clean set of books

Desired Skills:
  • Be detail-oriented
  • Have great organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines with accuracy.
  • Able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience with QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Excel, and Word.
  • Some experience with tax documents and preparing tax returns.
  • Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
