REQUIREMENTS of the job:
Education/Training/Experience:
- Master’s degree required in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field.
- Louisiana Behavior Analyst (LBA)
- BCBA Certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Experience consulting other professionals in a school setting
- Be an independent contractor
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with other professionals (teachers, occupational technicians, speech and language pathologists, medical professionals, IEP teams, and principals) to develop a behavior intervention plan that is individualized to target each client’s specific strengths and weaknesses.
- Assess the client’s treatment needs and write detailed goals and objectives for each client’s program so that progress can be tracked and measured.
- Attend IEP, IFSP, and transition meetings with the family to present the client’s present level of performance and proposed goals.
- Establish and maintain session notes, BIP’s, and graphs for clients who receive services.
- Make schedule for clients according to medical necessity.
- Provide parent training and protocol modification to clients.

Pay: $68,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
