Job Description

AZCFC is a proven leader in the delivery of evidence-based specialty behavioral health services. We are seeking qualified and dedicated front office staff to join our amazing administrative team. In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks. Ideal candidates must also be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as communicating with clients, staff, and various health plans will form a large part of the job. Additional duties involve:

  • Hours: 12pm-8pm, Monday through Friday.
  • Provide a high level of support to the clinicians and the Administrative Services Manager.
  • Conduct various case management functions including setting up and verifying transportation, assisting clinicians with scheduling appointments, communicating with parents and guardians as well as referring agents.
  • Assist the clinicians in program delivery.
  • Verify insurance benefits.
  • Check clients in and collect client payments.
  • Schedule appointments for the clinicians.
  • Data entry into the EHR system.
  • Documentation of interactions with referring agents.
  • Outreaching new potential clients for intake appointments.
  • Prepare and send records to outside entities.
  • Assist with agency billing.
  • Other administrative functions necessary for effective service delivery.

Skills/ Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of 1 years working in the health care field.
  • Must have level 1 fingerprint clearance card.
  • Medical billing training is desirable for this position.
  • Ability to communicate well in writing and verbally.
  • Advanced knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office is a plus.
  • Ability to perform duties with minimum of supervision.
  • General knowledge of the behavioral health field is desirable.
  • High level ability to navigate computer programs and EHR systems.
  • Ability to function as a team member.
  • Experience working with multi-cultural and low socio-economic individuals, specifically LGBTQ populations.
  • General knowledge & aptitude for working with youth and families.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
