Job Description

Compensation: $30-$35/hour DOE + paid sick days

Schedule: Fridays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Some care Monday to Thursday (even if just one or two of those days) from 4-6 pm would be helpful, but is not required.

A warm and welcoming family in San Ramon is looking for a part-time nanny to care for their sweet 1-year old. They would love for someone to start as soon as possible.

These lovely first-time parents are looking for someone experienced with infants and toddlers, who they can look to for guidance and support on all things baby. The ideal candidate is familiar with developmentally appropriate milestones and activities as well as sleep and scheduling.

Additional duties include meal preparation for baby, baby’s laundry and dishes, tidying up after baby, diaper and baby supply inventory, going on walks, and driving to classes and outings (the family has a car available to use). Someone who speaks a second language in addition to English is a plus, although not required. This is a wonderful family you don't want to miss working with!

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of paid, professional childcare experience that occurred over the age of 18 (not for family or friends) with excellent references
• Recent infant nanny experience
• Make at least a one-year commitment
• Covid vaccinated and booster (when eligible), Tdap, and flu vaccines
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Legal work authorization in the U.S.
• English fluency
